Prosperity & Luck Customized Sweatshirts
In March 2020, as a personal passion project, I illustrated, created, produced, marketed, and sold an original line of sweatshirts.
Artwork and meaning
The artwork combines traditional Japanese art and modern street style. The characters depict “Prosperity & Luck” in Japanese, which is the traditional meaning of Koi fish. Furthermore, the red circle represents “the rising sun” of Japan.
After production, I launched a marketing plan via Instagram, which resulted in over $4,000 worth of sales for the initial and only drop of product.
